Aurora Mediant is a mythic dark fantasy author. Her father was a United Methodist minister, and her mother is from the Philippines. 

Born in Kansas, Aurora grew up largely in Minnesota and currently resides in Hastings, Nebraska. She is a highly introverted nerd who gravitates towards science, comics, sci-fi, and history.

Aurora Mediant suffers from schizoaffective bipolar manic type disorder and social pragmatic communication disorder. Auditory hallucinations, colloquially known as 'hearing voices', have been somewhat advantageous to her writing.
